Meet Erin Fowler
Erin Fowler received her Bachelor's Degree from The Florida State University and her Juris Doctorate Degree from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School, where she graduated in the top of her class.
Erin is the founder of Erin Fowler Law were she practices in criminal defense, dui defense, juvenile court, and family law. She has received expansive training in standardized field sobriety tests, dependency matters in juvenile court, and mental health issues.
Prior to opening her firm she worked at the Fulton County, Georgia Solicitor's Office, where she tried misdemeanor cases under the third year practice act. She has also worked with the Federal Defender Program, where she was commended for her abilities and professionalism.
Prior to attending law school, Erin worked with the Indigent Defense Program in Forsyth County, Georgia, where she was primarily responsible for meeting with newly arrested inmates to determine their eligibility for court appointed counsel.
Erin's experience in family law is also expansive. While in Florida after obtaining her undergraduate degree, she worked with a Family Law Magistrate in the Sixth Judicial Circuit in St. Petersburg. The Magistrate primarily handled pro se divorce, child support, custody and modifications to prior court decisions. While attending The Florida State University, Erin worked with an attorney who principally handled private adoptions.
At law school, Erin achieved accolades academically and through extra-curricular activities. In Moot Court, she participated in three competitions, ranking first place in the law school's Intra-School Moot Court Competition after effectively arguing before The Georgia Court of Appeals. She was also the chair of the school's Moot Court Board. While serving on the Board she successfully implemented the program's first operating bylaws.
